Say hi to the newly relaunched london.unlike.net. Weʼve been longtime fans of the unlike app – itʼs saved our asses from touristy boredom in Berlin, Paris, Shanghai, Copenhagen, Barcelona… Weʼre now super excited to partner up with unlike.net for the London branch, which will do what the global guide has been doing perfectly for a while now: taking things down to a local level, eliminating average spots and highlighting the unknowns you should know. Food, Shop, Culture, Art, Drink, Club, Hotel, itʼs all yours.

For the launch weʼve made a film following the grain of Umbroʼs 1350 project for their new range of off-pitch apparel, Diamond Icons. The name of the line comes from the idea that away from the 90 on the pitch, there’s still 1350 minutes left in the day to pass the time until you’re next back on the pitch. The legendary brand for footie lovers enlisted the help of Ewen Spencer to shoot tattooed footballers Juan Vargas and Darren Bent during their own 1350, getting inked in Florence and Newcastle respectively, you can check the films here.

Our take on the whole thing? Matty DʼArienzo. The 27 year old whiskey-loving artist from Melbourne is a super talented tattooist and all round nice guy, now living and working in London. Matty D’Arienzo holds the same qualities recognised in Vargas and Bent: dedication to tattoo culture, a strong connection to traditional aesthetics in his work and of course…an eye for fashion. In this short peek into his day, Matty shows us how he lives his own 1350.

After the 90, there are still 1350 minutes left to play.

Watch it all happen in the film above, and keep checking london.unlike.net for info on whatʼs good … weʼve got plenty of tips coming your way.
